Department of Intergovernmental & Constituent Services Objectives
- Provides leadership and direction for the Douglas County Board of Commissioners involvement in all political, legislative, and legal processes as it affects current programs and new business opportunities
- Directs lobbying efforts for Douglas County at the State Capitol and in Washington D.C. to include the development of a legislative portfolio and the county’s political and legislative strategies
- Conducts pre-award grant oversight and administration for Douglas County
- Develops and implements strategic plans to brand Douglas County and manages relationships with all the county's external stakeholders
- Educates, engages, and empowers citizens and businesses with resources to promote a clean and sustainable community
