The Douglas County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a Special Called Meeting for Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held virtual, and the public is available to view on dctv 23 for Comcast customers and on line at dctv23.com. The meeting will be streamed on the Douglas County Happenings Facebook page and the dctv 23 YouTube channel as well.
The purpose of the BOC special called meeting is about a resolution of the Board of Commissioners calling for a referendum imposing a one percent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) as authorized by the State of Georgia and approval of related Intergovernmental Agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign all documents.
