Douglas County, GA – The Douglas County Board of Commissioners through the Department of Transportation would like to let citizens know of a notice of construction that will require the westbound right hand lane closure of Maxham Road from Creekside Drive to Pontiac Circle from Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from March 3, 2022, to July 8, 2022.
“A portion of the west bound lane will be closed periodically for short durations during the months of March to July,” said County spokesman Rick Martin. “During this period, concrete, steel and other construction equipment will be delivered. Our goal is to minimize the disruption to traffic while building the Maxham Road Sidewalk project.”
