Beginning May 2, 2025, Douglas County will officially transition from CODE RED to a new emergency notification system: ALERT DOUGLAS.
This enhanced system is designed to provide real-time alerts and critical updates directly to your phone, email, or via text — ensuring you stay informed and prepared in the event of an emergency.

Even if you were previously registered for emergency alerts through CODE RED, you must re-register in ALERT DOUGLAS to continue receiving notifications.
