Douglas County GIS department provides a variety of maps to encourage county staff and citizens engagement. We are moving  beyond beyond normal desktop GIS to a full mobile deployment for use on multiple platforms (desktop, tablet, and smartphone).

****The GIS Department is unable to provide exact location of property lines for any construction project (ie. fence construction). If a property survey or subdivision plat isn't available a surveyor will need to hired before construction begins.****

Mission Statement

The mission of Douglas County GIS Department is to create and maintain geospatial data in an efficient, cost effective manor through use of specialized hardware, software, and aerial photography in support of the Board of Commissioners, elected officials, and county departments.
