The Douglas County Occupational Tax Department processes payments for businesses in unincorporated Douglas County only. If the business is located in the city of Douglasville, Villa Rica, or Austell, you will need to apply through those jurisdictions.
Before submitting your New Business Application Packet, please check your address on the GIS Map to make sure you are located in unincorporated Douglas County.
Please return your completed New Business Application Packet, including all required attachments, to the Douglas County Courthouse Occupational Tax Department at 4655 Timber Ridge Drive, Douglasville GA 30135.
Incomplete packets will not be processed and will be returned to the applicant. Packets may be submitted in person; via USPS mail; via parcel delivery service; or by emailing businesslicense@douglascountyga.gov.
