Commission members shall be residents of Douglas County and shall have demonstrated special interest, education and experience in history, architecture or the preservation of historic resources. At least 3 members shall be from among professionals in the disciplines of architecture, history, architectural history, planning, archaeology or related professions and at least 1 member shall be from among professionals in the disciplines of building construction or real property appraisal.
